"Mom... why are you AFK?" Xiangli Fei's voice echoed from the other side of the room, startling Zhang Ming so much that her heart nearly stopped. Her body stiffened, and she quickly lifted her head from Zhang Yuan's lap, her pulse racing with panic.
"F-Fei'er?" Zhang Ming stammered, her voice trembling as she tried to maintain her composure.
Her eyes darted towards her daughter, who was sitting near the couch, looking confused.
Seeing Zhang Yuan and Zhang Ming on the couch, Xiangli Fei's eyes condensed.
"They... fell asleep?"
With a sigh, Xiangli Fei glanced at Zhang Ming who was sitting on Zhang Yuan's arms and sleeping... as both of them hugged each other in their sleep.
