Chapter 2 - Transmigrated

I opened my eyes. I massaged my temples, thinking about the headache that was coming.

"Oh, my head. I drank too much caffeine recently…"

A cool feeling passed through the back of my head, and at the same time, I felt an inexplicable sense of discomfort. I quickly looked around. It was a place I had never seen before.

"What am I doing here? Where is this…?"

An old bed that made a squeaking sound every time it moved.

A rag that looked like it was picked up from a used clothes collection bin, or rather a blanket.

A room with a musty smell.

Even after washing my eyes, this wasn't my room. An ominous premonition caressed the back of my head.

Isn't this a situation I've seen many times before?

"Crazy…"

There's no way I wouldn't know. This room was just like the scene in the novel I wrote.

"Is it true? Really."

It was so absurd that I couldn't even laugh.

This situation felt even more surreal as the things I had only imagined in my head each time became reality.

"transmigration…"

Is it because I am a writer? Maybe it was so shocking that it pushed my brain beyond its limits.

'Is this really the world in the novel I wrote?'

At that moment, a question suddenly occurred to me.

If it is true that I was truly transmigrated in the novel, what kind of character was I transmigrated by?

Without much thought, I took action right away. The moment I saw my reflection in the mirror, a curse came out of my mouth.

"Ha… Even if I'm transmigrated, it can't be by a bastard like this..."

To begin with, I wasn't even expecting to be the protagonist.

Because that's the cliché of transmigration stories. But I never dreamed that out of all the characters, I would be transmigrated by this one.

No, it was natural. In the first place, imagining that you will be transmigrated by your own novel is the bullshit of bullshit. A delusion is a delusion, and reality is reality.

It turns out that not all writers who write novels where the main character is transmigrated actually wrote about their own experiences in their novels.

A novel must end as a novel, and if it becomes reality, what kind of novel is it? Prophetic bibliography.

It would have been a hundred times better to be possessed by a nameless extra in the outskirts.

"…Enforce."

I tried to recite a spell just in case, but nothing happened.

Actually, I know that too.

That the starting word was wrong. It's just that I couldn't easily accept this reality. I looked around and muttered in a whisper.

"O flowing mana of the great sea, submit to your master. Strengthen."

Immediately, my whole body became energized. The body that had been hanging down unsightly was full of vitality.

"I'm really going crazy…"

I covered my face with shock.

Is this something called cause-and-effect retribution?

I, too, am contemplating a worldview for this work due to feelings of self-destruction and repulsion that I am writing a work with obvious material.

I added a stupid setting that said, 'All wizards must chant at least 20 syllables when casting spells.'

Actually, it doesn't really matter what you say while chanting.

It was just a setting put in to screw the readers.

In particular, the setting was that the cringier it was, the more certain and clear the image was, and the greater the power it exerted...

I never imagined that I would say those lines myself.

"No matter how I look at it, this is an attempt to fuck me…? I deliberately became this kind of person...."

Tiring!

A system message window appeared before my eyes.

[I 'transmigrated' you as promised^^]

"…It's you, right? Black net? Did you throw me into this world just because of a comment like that?"

[What kind of world is this? Isn't this a world that the author put a lot of effort into creating? And you should have been careful when writing comments or speaking. This is what happens if you say whatever you want under the mask of anonymity :)]

My stomach boiled when I saw the grinning emoticon, but it wasn't really wrong.

I was the one who left the comment carelessly.

But who would ever think that just by leaving a comment in error, someone would be possessed in a novel they wrote?

But first, a quick apology.

I don't know what the other person's identity is, but they are a transcendent being with the ability to easily possess a small creature like me. There was no benefit in pretending for no reason.

"…Sorry. I think I was talking nonsense because I was mentally and physically weak at the time. From now on, I will only speak kind and kind words and live a good life. I sincerely apologize. I will spend my whole life reflecting on this, so could you please send me back to the world I came from?"

[I would like to do that, but unfortunately it seems difficult. There are more people waiting for the completion of this work than I expected. If the author wants to leave this world, he has no choice but to complete his work safely. So, please work hard to write your story. I look forward to the great stories the author will create in the future. Okay then.]

After the unilateral notification, the system message disappeared.

"Hey…? , Are you there?"

.

.

.

"… Hello?"

No answer. Only silence.

"You crazy fucking bastard-!!!"

In the end, I couldn't hold back, and curses came out.

"You fucking bastard-!! In life, you may make mistakes. How can something like this happen just because someone wrote a comment incorrectly?"

After swearing non-stop for about 5 minutes, I gradually regained my senses.

"Ha… Ha… Yes, nothing will change just by swearing here. Let's sort out this damn situation first."

I took a moment to catch my breath and began to organize my situation one by one.

This is the world in the novel I wrote, and in order to leave this place, I must finish the story safely.

That means that the novel must come to an end.

"Put an end to it..."

For a moment.

'I've only written up to 20 chapters of this...'

At the thought of that, I felt like my soul was leaving.
