AARON RICHMOND POV
I walked back to my room, I felt a sense of determination wash over me. I knew it wouldn't be easy to find Vivienne and my son, but I was willing to try. I owed it to them, and to myself, to make things right.
I sat down on my bed and pulled out my phone, scrolling through my contacts until I found Mike's number. I hesitated for a moment before dialing, wondering if I was ready to face the consequences of my actions.
"Mike," I said, when he answered. "I need to talk to you about something."
"What is it, Aaron?" Mike asked, his voice cautious.
"It's about Vivienne," I said, taking a deep breath. "And my son."
There was a pause on the other end of the line, and for a moment, I wondered if Mike had hung up on me.
"Aaron, I told you to forget about them," Mike said finally, his voice firm. "They're not worth risking everything for."
