Chapter 18 - She Has Conceived.

Fenrir was insatiable, having kept Aisling awake for most of the night with his passionate lovemaking. As the first light of dawn began to filter through the windows, he felt the familiar stirrings of desire once more. However, Aisling, thoroughly exhausted, rolled herself tightly in the bedsheet, murmuring, "Enough, Fenrir. I don't even know if I can walk."

Realizing her fatigue, Fenrir's eyes softened with understanding. He gently pulled her, sheet and all, into his arms, cuddling her close. He began to purr, a soothing and rhythmic sound that relaxed her completely. The mate purr was a unique ability, designed to calm and comfort, and Aisling felt its effects almost immediately. She sighed contentedly, her body unwinding in his embrace.

Just as they were about to drift back into sleep, Aisling's stomach growled loudly. Fenrir couldn't help but laugh out loud, the sound filling the room with warmth and affection. "I suppose we should get you some breakfast," he said, still chuckling.

Aisling blushed, but smiled back at him, feeling a deep sense of contentment. "I think that's a good idea," she agreed, her voice soft and drowsy. Fenrir kissed the top of her head, his laughter subsiding into a tender smile.

Fenrir left for a while, and when he returned, he gently pulled Aisling up, removing the bedsheet and carrying her bridal style to the shower. There, he meticulously cleaned her, guiding her to do the same for him. He reveled in how her skin now carried his scent, a clear marker to any other werewolf that she was his.

In the shower, as the hot water cascaded over them, Fenrir couldn't resist arousing her once more. He pressed her against the glass wall, entering her from behind with slow, powerful thrusts. Each time he pushed into her, he lifted her slightly, his strength evident. He caressed her body, kissing her earlobes and whispering sweet nothings that heightened her desire. The combination of his strength and tenderness brought Aisling to another epic orgasm, her entire body shaking with pleasure as he reached his climax.

They rested in that position for a moment, the hot water washing over them, before Fenrir finally let them finish showering. He dried both of them with soft, warm towels and wrapped them in cozy robes. He then guided her to the dining room, where a feast awaited them.

The table was laden with pheasant and duck meat, Elvian elixir, and various other delicacies. Aisling, ravenous from the night's exertions, began wolfing down her food, making Fenrir laugh tenderly. He was fully sated and content, enjoying the sight of her eating with such gusto. He kept adding more morsels to her plate, his heart swelling with affection and satisfaction.

There was a chime near the front door signaling a visitor. Kissing Aisling's lips softly, Fenrir excused himself and went to receive the guest. It was Aerendir, the elder, back again. The moment he saw Fenrir, Aerendir raised an eyebrow and smiled knowingly. "I suppose congratulations are in order?"

Fenrir smiled proudly. "Indeed, indeed. Please, come in and let me introduce you to my mate."

Aerendir smiled and followed Fenrir into the cabin. They made their way to the dining room, where Aisling was lounging comfortably in a food coma. Seeing the elder, she hurriedly composed herself, glaring at Fenrir for not giving her a heads-up about the guest. Fenrir simply smiled and winked at her.

"My love," he said, "please allow me to introduce you to my only living maternal uncle, my late mother's elder brother."

Hearing this, Aisling quickly showed her respect. Aerendir was pleased with her demeanor and could sense her pure heart. As a mystical healer, he also sensed something extraordinary. Smiling, he looked at Aisling and then at Fenrir.

"She's a gem, Fenrir. Pure at heart," Aerendir said, his eyes twinkling with knowledge. "And what's more, I can already feel that she has conceived."

Aisling's eyes widened in surprise and joy. Fenrir, equally astonished and elated, took Aisling's hand, squeezing it gently.

"Truly?" Fenrir asked, his voice filled with wonder.

Aerendir nodded. "Indeed. Your bond is strong and blessed by the Unseen Creator. You will have a bright future together."

Overwhelmed with happiness, Fenrir hugged Aisling tightly.

Aisling was shocked and a bit scared. It was rare for she-wolves to conceive, and at times, if her womb was not ready, the process could be fatal. Aiden had always been concerned about this. Seeing the worry in her eyes, Aerendir smiled gently and reassured her.

"The elixir I gave you yesterday healed and strengthened your body, dear. Do not fear; all will be well. When your time is almost due, let Fenrir bring you here. We will take care of you and your younglings."

Aisling felt a wave of relief wash over her. She trusted Aerendir's wisdom and the potency of the elvish magic. Turning to Fenrir, she saw the love and concern in his eyes, and it comforted her even more.

"Thank you," she said softly, gratitude evident in her voice.

Fenrir wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. "We will be fine, love. We have each other, and I will protect you with my being."

Aerendir nodded approvingly. "You both have a bright future ahead. Cherish these moments and support each other through every challenge."

When they returned to the palace later to greet the others, they were met with an unexpected surprise: a grand party congratulating them on their union. Fenrir's sister, Eirianeth, was the happiest of all, presenting Aisling with the most beautiful jewelry, magnificent robes, and enchanted rings filled to the brim with powerful magic. These gifts humbled Aisling immensely.

Eirianeth tried to get Aisling alone to speak with her, but Fenrir wouldn't have it. Even his wolf let out a low, warning growl. Their mate was precious, especially now that new life had started within her. He wouldn't let her out of his sight for a second. Seeing his protective reaction, Eirianeth raised her hands in surrender and instead guided both of them into her enchanted garden, where exotic birds flew freely among vibrant flora.

In the heart of the garden, Eirianeth made a strange, melodic call, and a majestic phoenix glided down, perching gracefully on a nearby tree branch. Its fiery eyes locked onto Aisling's, and in that moment, a deep connection was felt between them.

"This phoenix," Eirianeth explained softly, "is a guardian of new life and hope. It's my gift to you, Aisling, because you have brought the same to my dearest brother."

Aisling was awestruck by the magnificent creature. She felt a sense of calm and reassurance wash over her, as if the phoenix's presence was a blessing for her and the life growing inside her. Fenrir, too, was mesmerized, his earlier tension easing as he felt the protective aura of the phoenix surround them.

"Thank you, Eirianeth," Aisling said, her voice filled with gratitude. "But this is too much; I can't even fathom taking it with me."

Eirianeth smiled warmly. "You are family now, Aisling. You can keep it here until you get a better place for it."

Later that evening, there was a grand ball in the palace, and Fenrir and Aisling were invited. They stuck to each other like glue, dancing the night away. The atmosphere was magical, with ethereal music playing and the room illuminated by shimmering lights.

As the clock struck midnight, the full moon bathed the palace in its silvery glow. Elder Aerendir approached them with a mysterious smile. "I have a special surprise for you," he announced. Curiosity piqued, Fenrir and Aisling followed him, eager to see what awaited them.
