Chapter 3 - The Royal Academy

Silver's eyes remained fixed on the spot where Finley had disappeared, his mind reeling with grief and anger. He couldn't believe that his father had done something so cruel.

Just as he was about to storm out of the castle, he heard a gentle voice behind him. "Silver, dear, I think it's time we had a talk."

He turned to see his mother,

Queen Shadows standing in the doorway. Her eyes were warm and concerned, but Silver could sense the underlying determination.

"Mother, what do you want?" Silver asked, his voice still heavy with emotion.

"I want to talk to you about the Royal Academy," she said. "I know that you've been struggling with your father's... methods, and I think it's time for you to learn the ways of the kingdom."

Silver raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

"The Royal Academy is a prestigious school for the children of nobles," she explained. "It's where they learn how to rule wisely, how to wield power and diplomacy. And I think it would be a wonderful opportunity for you and your sister to learn from the best tutors in the land."

Silver's eyes widened in surprise. He had never considered attending the Royal Academy before. But as he thought about it, he realized that it could be a great chance to learn how to stop his father's evil plans.

"Who would be teaching us?" he asked.

"Ah, that's the best part," Queen Elara said with a smile. "The Royal Academy is headed by none other than the renowned wizard, Professor Orion. He's one of the most powerful wizards in the land, and I'm sure he'll be able to teach you and your sister a thing or two."

Silver's eyes lit up with excitement. "And what about my sister? She's always been fascinated by magic."

Queen Elara nodded. "Ah, yes! Your sister, Ruby, would be perfect for the Academy. She has a natural talent for magic, and I'm sure she would thrive under Professor Orion's guidance."

Silver nodded, his mind racing with possibilities. "Okay, Mother. I'll do it. I'll attend the Royal Academy and learn how to stop Father's evil plans."

Queen Elara smiled warmly. "That's my boy. And don't worry about Ruby - she'll be joining you soon enough."

As they walked out of the castle together, Silver couldn't help but feel a sense of hope rising within him. Maybe, just maybe, attending the Royal Academy would be the key to stopping his father once and for all.

And as they arrived at the Academy's grand gates, Silver couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and trepidation. What lay ahead for him and Ruby at this prestigious school? Only time would tell.

As Silver and his sister, Ruby, stepped into the grand halls of the Royal Academy, they were greeted by the sight of students from all over the kingdom, bustling about with excitement and nervous energy. Silver's eyes scanned the crowd, taking in the unfamiliar faces and trying to get a sense of the atmosphere.

That's when he saw her.

The Heroine.

Finley's sister, Eira, stood tall and proud, her blonde hair shining like gold in the sunlight. Her eyes gleamed with a fierce determination, and her sword shone like polished steel at her side.

Silver's heart skipped a beat as he took in the sight of her. He had never seen anyone like her before. And then, as he looked deeper into her eyes, he felt a strange sense of déjà vu.

And that was when it hit him.

He was inside a novel.

The one Finley his friend in real world with the same name had given him. The one about the hero and his companions on a quest to save the world. Eira Is the Heroine of this world. Silver doesn't seem to remember anything else.

Silver's mind reeled as he stared at Eira, trying to wrap his head around the situation. He felt like he was living in a dream, or worse, a fantasy.

But Eira didn't seem to notice anything out of the ordinary. She was too busy glaring at Silver with a fierce intensity.

"What's your problem?" Silver asked, trying to keep his voice steady.

"You," Eira spat. "You are Gin let's Friend aren't you!"

Silver's eyes widened in shock. "How did you know?"

Eira's face turned red with rage. "You're Finley's friend! I know what happened to him! You're just a pawn in this twisted game!"

Silver held up his hands, trying to calm her down. "Wait, listen! I know it's a lot to take in, but I'm telling you the truth. I'm not who I'm supposed to be. I'm just... I'm just a reader."

Eira's glare didn't waver. "You're just an evil person like your family. You're not worthy of being my brother's friend."

Silver felt a sting from her words. He knew he wasn't worthy of being Finley's friend, not really. He was just a reader who had stumbled into this world.

But as he looked at Eira, he saw something in her eyes that gave him hope. A spark of recognition, maybe? A glimmer of understanding?

"Please," Silver said, his voice barely above a whisper. "Listen to me. I'm not who I'm supposed to be. But I can help you. I can help you stop my father's evil plans."

Eira's expression softened slightly, and for a moment, Silver saw a glimmer of hope.

"Okay," she said finally. "I'll listen to you. But if you're lying to me..."

Silver nodded solemnly. "I'm not lying. I promise."

And with that, Eira turned and walked away, leaving Silver feeling both relieved and terrified for what lay ahead.

As he watched her go, Silver couldn't help but wonder what other surprises this world had in store for him.

As Silver and Ruby settled into their new life at the Royal Academy, they began to learn more about the school's secrets and traditions.

The Academy was a place of wonder and magic, where students from all over the kingdom came to learn the art of magic, diplomacy, and warfare. It was a place where the next generation of leaders would be shaped, and where the boundaries between reality and fantasy blurred.

At the heart of the Academy was Professor Orion, a wise and powerful wizard who had taught some of the most legendary heroes in the kingdom. He was a tall, imposing figure with a kind face and a twinkle in his eye. His long white hair was streaked with silver, and his beard was long and flowing.

Professor Orion was known for his unorthodox teaching methods, which often involved using humor and wit to drive home complex points. He was a master of storytelling, and his classes were always filled with laughter and excitement.

But despite his warm demeanor, Professor Orion was also a formidable opponent. He had fought in many battles against dark forces, and his knowledge of magic was unparalleled.

As Silver and Ruby began to learn more about the Academy, they discovered that there were many other talented female professors who taught various subjects.

One of these professors was Mistress Lyra, a skilled warrior who taught sword fighting and combat techniques. She was a tall, athletic woman with long black hair and piercing green eyes. Her sword was always at her side, and she was known for her fierce dedication to her students.

Another professor was Mistress Aria, a talented enchantress who taught magic and spellcasting. She was a petite woman with short red hair and bright blue eyes. Her voice was like music, and her magic was said to be able to heal even the most grievous wounds.

Then there was Professor Selena, a wise and compassionate woman who taught diplomacy and politics. She was a striking woman with long golden hair and piercing blue eyes. Her words were always laced with wisdom and kindness, and she was respected by all who knew her.

As Silver and Ruby began to get to know their professors, they realized that each one had their own unique personality and style. But despite their differences, they all shared a common goal: to help their students become the best versions of themselves.

And as Silver settled into his new life at the Academy, he couldn't help but feel grateful for this chance to learn from such talented and dedicated teachers. He knew that he had a lot to learn, but he was ready for the challenge.
