The next morning,the hotel room was a mess and mel was supposed to have a meeting with the government officials,she hurriedly dressed up, as she was about to open the door,Rex Sat in front of her, lowering his ears and dilating his cute pupils ."Rex , not now! Awwn.You guys haven't told me who made all this mess,when I return i deserve an explanation"
Rex purred and turned all over, Mel patted his head,took their cufflinks and leash and took them along with her, she signed out and left. the people didn't dare come close to her.
" hey (waving her hand) Me-la-n... what the...is that not a panther?"Zazina asked Melanie,they coincidentally met each other.
" hey Zazin" Mel greeted back
" it's Zazina" Zazina corrected
" yeah, I know, but I'm calling you Zazin" Mel made a cheeky smile
" (chuckles)where are you off to?"Zazin asked.
"board meeting, trying to make the city a little bustling"she smiled and answered.
"that's nice ....(shyly) uhmm ...uh..can I ask you for a favor? ( with one eye closed and her bangs covering her forehead)" Zazin started shyly,
" yeah sure" Mel said
" can you pretend to be my girlfriend for 5 mins, I want to get rid of that guy"Zazin asked while pointing at a man with a mysterious aura in a Rolls Royce.
Mel eyes widened,then she checked her wrist watch
"seems, I got spare time, so what's the deal?"Mel asked.
Zazina explained everything.
AFTER 2 MINUTES
"what do you want? how many times have I told you, don't come close to her" Mel screaming on the top of her voice,then she slapped the unknown guy across the face and he didn't even twitch his face instead he just stared at Zazina. Zazina hung her mouth open. what did Mel just do? was that a pat on the cheek or what?
"then, you must know your girlfriend cheated on you" Samuel retorted
"mgh! umm, it's no big deal. just go away"Mel retorted (she pushed the man).
Samuel moved forward to Zazina
"Zazina" his voice almost a whisper and rough.
It was as if love and warmth flashed through his eyes for a split second, Zazina stepped back.
"it's...(sighs) it's just a one night stand, and nothing else, please go away, leave me alone,I.. I have a girlfriend"Zazina said while averting her gaze,not wanting to look at him.
The man put his hands into his pocket,he called for his chauffeur,his voice cold.
He signed his signature on a blank cheque,and asked Zazina to fill in an amount. She was dumbfounded,she couldn't accept it,but before she could reject it,he forcefully put it in her bag and left, leaving her rooted in that spot.
For some reason she felt insulted,she wasn't some prostitute,who would sell her body.
Mel just watched what happened,soon they both left for a restaurant.
"Girl you got yourself a fortune"Mel was happy. Mel is a naturally screwed person,she loves money.
They were munching on a beef burger.
Zazin sighed "yeah,I know, thanks for your help"her expression too sad for someone who had typically just won a lottery or found a fortune.
"You're welcome,anyways what really happened,how did you get entangled with that guy?" Mel asked.
Zazin hesitated,Mel waved her hands,as if she was brushing it off.
"Don't worry, it's being tiring opening up to people right?, it's as if they wouldn't understand"Mel said,with a faint sad smile, while thinking of her own situation.
Zazina smiled helplessly,where was this girl all her life?! Someone who truly understood her and won't budge her. Her so called bestie always had a talent in overshadowing her.
"Those uhm..." Zazina pointed at the animals.
"Ohw.. this,this is Shasha, Sihael, Nana and Rex,I hope they give me tiny cubs soon" Mel smiled.
The animals drifted from each other,humans should mind what they say sometimes, gosh. This was what the animals were thinking.
"Awwn, that's nice,I hope I haven't taken much of your time?" Zazin asked
"Nope,I'm off,see you later" Mel smiled,waved at her and left.
She got to her supposed destination and headed to a conference room.
There,they started a boring meeting.
