(RHEA'S POV)
"We will see each other very soon." Layla said to me.
"Yes we will." I told her and I gave her a wave as she walked away probably headed towards her carriage where her husband was waiting for her.
I sighed as I saw her leave. I just had a good time with her and I felt some kind of happiness with her. She was warm and truly friendly. She was the first friend that I have ever made and it felt so nice to be her friend.
But I also could not help but feel guilty because I had lied to her. I could not simply just tell her that not only did I know Alpha Aztec personally but I was also supposed to get married to him soon.
I was just about to walk back in to the hall which now had a reduced number of guests and as I was headed to a corner, I heard quick approaching feet.
"Excuse me please. Can you stop for a moment?" A voice said audibly from behind me.
