After our new adventure companions joined, the girls and I along with Mateo set off to the Pokémon Tech, however, our paths ended up separating because Mateo had to go to Saffron City to catch the plane that would take him back home, while we would stop at Pokémon Tech to visit it.
"I think our paths are parted here" - said Mateo.
We were about to arrive at Pokémon Tech, but Mateo decided that it was time to go on his way alone, after all, they would be separated in a couple of minutes.
"Yes, it has been a pleasure to meet you" – I nodded.
"Have a good trip" – Celeste said.
"Yes, good luck" – Roxanne nodded.
"Pika pi" – Pikachu said.
"Thank you very much and by the way, I hope you visit me one day, I will welcome you with open arms and I will show you my work and I will introduce you to my friends and family, I am sure they will like you" – Mateo said with a smile.
For him, Ash and the girls were his benefactors and new friends, it was obvious that he was going to invite them.
"I think after the Pokémon League we could go and take a break, I've never visited the Orange Archipelago, but I've heard that the weather on Orange Archipealgo is perfect to go to the beach" - Roxanne said.
"Exactly, it's always sunny and the beaches are paradisiacal!" – Mateo nodded.
"Then, we'll go after I finished the Pokémon League, it'll be a good holidays" – I said with a smile.
"I'll be waiting for you there and good luck in the Pokémon League, I'll be watching you on TV, I hope you win!" – Mateo said.
"Take it for granted!" – I nodded.
I will win, there is no doubt about it because unlike the original Ash, I have won the badges with my own effort and not by pure luck, besides, my Pokémon will end up evolving and I will become much stronger as a trainer, I will win without hesitation.
"Goodbye, friends!" – said Matthew.
And then, he ran away.
"He have a lot of energy" – Celeste said.
Today they had not slept any and were quite exhausted, but Mateo seemed not to be tired in the least, in fact, he seemed full of energy.
What they never knew is that Mateo fell asleep as soon as he got on the plane and woke up only after the stewardess woke him up.
…
A few minutes later.
Surprisingly, Pokémon Tech wasn't as far away as you might think, and we arrived in just a few minutes.
When we arrived, we could see that the Pokémon Tech was a huge building extremely similar to a school, in addition, around us we could see that there were numerous facilities such as tennis courts, paddle tennis, soccer and we could even observe a huge pool in the distance where there seemed to be people and Pokémon bathing in it and I am not surprised because it was deadly heat.
"Impressive, it's do huge" – Celeste said.
The truth is that Celeste was not expected to be so big, it is expected to be a kind of school, but what she had in front of her was not only a gigantic school, but an endless number of facilities.
"As I have read, this school is made for quite wealthy people, so I was expecting something like this..." – Roxanne said.
Suddenly, Roxanne was a little thoughtful, as if she was remembering something.
"Is something wrong with you, Roxanne?" – I asked something curious.
"Oh, no! I was thinking about this school, it must be because I'm a little tired!" – Roxanne exclaimed.
Suspicious, I suppose something is wrong with her, but if she doesn't want to talk about it, I'd better not insist for the moment.
"Do you want us to go to rest? As I have been able to observe on the way here, there is a Pokémon Center near here, we could rest there until tomorrow and visit Pokémon Tech tomorrow" – I suggested.
Admittedly, we were all pretty tired, after all, we hadn't slept all night.
"No, I'm fine, really!" – Roxanne said.
"I'm fine too, I'm a little tired, but... I can hold on" – Celeste said.
"Pika pi!" – Pikachu said.
Apparently none of them were tired enough to want to sleep and I wasn't dying of exhaustion either, so... We enter the building.
The truth is that we didn't know what to do, so we just decided to go inside and ask if we could see the facilities and after a little tour, we would go straight to Vermillion City.
Upon entering, we could see that the "reception", so to speak, looked like that of a hotel and not that of a school, moreover, why does a school need a reception?
"This reminds me more of a hotel than a school" – Celeste said.
"The richs have always been this extravagant" - Roxanne said.
"Anyway, let's go to the counter, the receptionist is looking at us a little surprised" – I said.
From the moment we walked in, the girl behind the counter was looking at us curiously, so we'd better go and introduce ourselves before she calls security.
"Hello, good morning" – I said after approaching.
"Good morning, do you want anything?" – the girl asked kindly.
The girl in question was quite pretty but not too much.
"Yes, look, we would like to visit the facilities if it's possible" – I nodded.
"Oh, of course, are you interested in studying here? Unfortunately, registration is already closed until next year, however, we can reserve places for you for next year if you wish" – said the girl kindly.
"No, we haven't really come to register or anything like that" - Celeste denied.
"Hmm, what do you want then?" – asked the girl.
Normally, people came to see the facilities and little else.
"Look, my name is Ash and this is my best friend, Pikachu and they are Celeste and Roxanne" – I said.
"It's a pleasure" – Celeste said.
"Nice to meet you" – Roxanne said.
"Equally" – said the receptionist.
"That said, I'm a Pokémon trainer who passed through here and since I've heard very good things about this place, I just wanted to see its facilities, but if it's too much trouble we can leave" – I said respectfully.
You always have to be respectful, at least at first.
"Really, are you Pokémon trainers, for real?" – asked the astonished girl.
"Well... technically I'm the only trainer here..." – I said.
"You're right, I'm a nurse Joy trainee" – Celeste nodded.
"And I'm a gym leader who is on holidays" - Roxanne said.
"Perfect, a trainer and a gym leader and even a Nurse Joy, perfect!" – said the girl excitedly.
"Excuse me, but... Why is it perfect?" – I asked curiously.
"Ah, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have shouted! It's just that not many trainers dedicate their time to see the facilities" - said the girl.
The girl explained to us that most of the trainers did not have a very good opinion of this school, because they considered that only those who win the 8 badges deserve to participate in the Pokémon League and they do not like the idea that just by attending a school for a few months, you are able to participate.
"I understand them, but I don't think the same as them, this is another option to participate in the Pokémon League, I don't see a bad thing for you to participate if you graduate, after all, if you are truly talented, you will stand out regardless of whether you have won badges or not" – I said sincerely.
Honestly, I didn't remember the existence of this facility, after all, it had been years since I last saw it in anime, but now that I've seen it and heard about its functions, the truth is that it doesn't make me angry, after all, even if they graduate and participate, if you're not talented, if you don't know how to fight... You'll lose, that's a fact.
"Wow, you're the first one to think that way, I know I'm being a little presumptuous by telling you this, but... can I ask you a favor?" – asked the girl.
Roxanne and Celeste also felt the same way as Ash.
"Hmm, I guess as long as it's not too difficult..." – I said.
I honestly wanted to refuse, but she looked me with that face, you know...
"Thank you, it won't take you too much time, I just want you to tell your experiences as a trainer to our most outstanding students, would it be possible?" – asked the girl.
