Days passed, and Akai was busy balancing her art, accompanying her grandma at home, and helping Mrs. Evelyn in her restaurant. One day, while working on an assignment for her English Literature class, analyzing the theme of "Love vs. Society" in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, her phone rang. She picked it up, holding it to her ear.

"Ryan is coming back tomorrow. I am going to say my feelings to him."
"Are you sure about it?" Akai asked as she stopped highlighting the words hearing her words.
"Yes. I going to do so before it's too late. You know father is going to set me up for blind dates here."
"What if he.." Akai stopped herself from saying the rest of the words.
