All of them had now finished eating their breakfast and they decided to go to where the bodies were hanging from the pole. Sir Pancho was with them in case of emergency.
"Are you really sure you want to go there? Members of the two groups will go there for sure. I am afraid for your safety." Hero looked at Sir Pancho while they were walking.
"We are fine, Sir Pancho don't worry about us too much. We can handle ourselves." Sir Pancho looked at them with disbelief and shook his head. He thought Hero and Simon were just too arrogant just like the other kids in the City but he was mistaken.
They left Peitho alone with Kalvin in the hideout as they had just gone there for a minute. When they have arrived at the area, the people sense them causing them to look at them. One named Edric stared at Hero when he sensed something in him. Edric is one of the awakened people in Paul's group while on his side, Robin is one of the awakened people in Almond's group.
"You," Edric speaks as he keeps on staring at Hero then turns to look at Simon. "I didn't think you were hiding monsters as well, Sir Pancho." Sir Pancho looks both at Simon and Hero but the two guys are just staring at Edric and Robin.
"Tell us you dumb, are you the ones who killed our people?" Robin asks as he glares at Hero but Hero doesn't give him an answer but just heads to where the bodies are. Flies were flying around the body and saw many worms inside of the person's flesh. Hero's sense of smell is strong so he can smell how stinky the bodies are but continues to check the bodies. It all confirmed that the monsters just eat their internal organs.
"Hey, dare to ignore me?" Robin was about to punch Hero in the back when Simon immediately went to where he was and stopped his hands from punching him causing Robin's eyes to widen. Not just him who is surprised but all of the people that were present in the area.
"What kind of ability do you have?" Edric asks Simon looking at him seriously.
"Why would I tell you? You are our enemy so we won't just let expose ourselves to you, don't we?" He then releases Robin's hand from his grip. "You all are just ordinary awakened people. You are nothing but weak shits."
The two were in a rage after hearing it, they all wanted to beat Simon when Hespokeke "I want to go where the she monster is." Robin laughs after hearing it.
"Just because your friend is strong you are cocky enough to ask that from us? Even though you will use a nuclear bomb, you cannot kill the she monster. She is very strong and no one can defeat her." Hero turned his back and looked at Robin.
"How can you say so? Did you already fight with Valerie?" All of them immediately dropped down when Hero mentioned her name. "Scared?"
Edric gritted his teeth and looked at Hero. "You don't know what that she monster is capable of! Stay humble to that great she monster or else you will get eaten!" Hero could now see what was happening in this city. Someone was sending messages to them that gave them terror about Valerie when in fact Valerie is not that really strong. They are much stronger than her but because of the messages that they received, it is stuck in their minds that Valerie is a monster that you should respect and should not mess with.
'Valerie is already taking her moves to make these people become her servants or is it really Valerie the one who did it?' Hero thought to himself as he stared at the two.
"I will ask the question again. Where is Valerie?" Hero releases a strong aura so the two men can feel fear from him and when they have sensed his strong aura, their eyes widen even more causing them to bow and grit their teeth. Robin decided to answer his question.
"She's in the Emerald Station, it is kilometers away from here." Hero looks at Simon indicating to tell him that they will go in there. "You don't know what you are doing."
"You don't know who are you believing. The messages that you all receive are just creating terror in your minds. You don't even have a chance to have a face-to-face fight with that she monster. The only thing that we should only believe us oelves not a damn nonsense message."
"Can't you already see how monsters devour every person!? How do monsters kill every person!? You have no idea how monsters scare the hell out of me! They killed my parents, my family, and my friends! Just seeing one monster can already make my body tremble in fear! By respecting Valerie we could be able to live in peace! Without worrying about monsters!"
Hero scoffs after hearing it. "How pity. The monsters you are seeing now are not just that. There are a lot of them and some of them could kill you in just a second. Stop whining and get a hold of yourself! What a useless man!"
Robin bit his lower lip causing it to bleed as he clenched his fist. He wanted to beat Hero for saying such things about them but he thought that it was better to tell everything that happened today to their leader.
When Hero and the others are now walking away from them, Robin stands up properly as well as Edric. Edric's group starts walking away from the bodies to head back to their hideout and stops to speak causing Robin to stay focused on him.
"That man will put this city in danger. He must be killed before he could kill the she monster or else, it would be over for us. We are able to live in peace away from monsters thanks to the she monster but that man would try to take it away from us. He must be the one to get killed not the monsters."
