In a room, with the cursing of a man, the crying of a child and the singing of a woman, it was pretty noisy. Stacy sang in joy for the return of her daughter with tears rolling down her eyes, down her wrinkle lines and dropping on her clothes. She felt happy and sad at the same time. As she sang, she looked at the girl line on the white bed in a white room that smelled of medicine and antiseptic. Yeah, they were still at the hospital. She was dressed in a hospital gown with faded brown hair and filled with bruises, lash marks and scratches. Stacy shed another tear and then turned around to lash at her husband "will you be quiet Mark, I am trying to think here, stop cursing or go outside and shut the door after you". "Look what they did to a little girl, those animals, I hope their kids suffer the same fate," mark cursed."Enough already, let's just be happy that she's fine and most importantly, she is home" Stacy said."Will my be sister be fine" cried Joe . This was the first time he was seeing his big sister so bruised and hospitalized. "She will be fine,I will make sure of it , we will make sure of it, right Joe?" Stacey reassured. "Yes Mom" said Joe. "When did the doctor say we could take her home Mark?". "Tomorrow,said she needed a warm place to recuperate and that it will do her more good". I call b*******, it's much better for her to stay in the hospital" Mark complained."We will take her home tomorrow then "Stacy finalized irrespective of Max complaints. "Sure, I will arrange the cab for you, I have to be a work tomorrow, we got a big case to settle" Mark said. At that, Stacy's eyes turned in anger." Is your job more important than your family?". she shouted at him. "Look honey "started Mark "she's back and she's fine, I've got a work you know, the hospital and therapy bills still need to be paid. Money won't fall from the sky". "Since you don't seem to care then just leave already, go do your job and solve your cases and I will go stand outside and wait for the money that falls from the sky. After all I don't have a job to get to" Stacy replied angrily and left. Marks sighs and sits down to continue cursing at the kidnappers. while Joe held his sister's hand and fell asleep, tired after all the crying. Eyes fluttered and she woke up again, looked around and fell back asleep. What a day.
