"what is a dragon?" Yuka sat silently with Hannah in front, a teacher student pose.
His hand was tightly clenching the remote, if not she wouldn't give a damn to teach him.
"A dragon is a powerful, proud, unstoppable creature, you don't want to mess with, as you know I am a dragon," Hannah spoke so proudly and well of herself, this encased the factor pride a lot.
"Where are your wings, beak, your legs, where are your feathers?"
"I hid my wings, dragon's don't have wings, I took human for, and what do you think I am a chicken?" Hannah answered his questions angrily. "You are also a dragon too, you know?"
"Whoa, does that mean I get wings too?" Yuka asked turning to get a veiw of his back probably to see if wings had began to sprout.
"No, you are not that type of dragon Yuka Hikano, you are my incarnate and one with me. You have my strengths and also my enemies," Hannah explained patting her laps with her hands. "Being a dragon is a lot of work, we are known for our powers and strength but hunted by your kind, you are special Yuka and people will want to kill you for that if you aren't strong enough. That is why you must train."
"Did.... Did they kill you?" Yuka's breathing went shallow with the delay of Hannah's words, she was taking her time that meant.... "How."
Hannah let out a brief sigh before continuing. "I was a good dragon drinking good water, humans came and ambushed me good, stabbed me good, killed a lot of them, but unfortunately they dropped a lot of good poison into the water I drank and I died a very brutal death..... Agonizing and disgraceful for a dragon."
Yuka could already sense a lot of apprehension in her tone. It must have hurt to die so disgraceful for a proud dragon. That would have knocked out of her the reason she breaths and live, she would typically feel useless. 'No wonder she watches a lot of tv.'
"If you have no reason to live or feel proud again, then I will be your reason Hannah," Yuka grinned giving Hannah a light feeling.
"What about you Yuka, can I know more about you?" Hannah quickly interjected the topic as her eyes began to get wet.
"Well I lost my parents, live in this place with my elder sister who took over the company.... I don't say this much but I am kinda a loser even though I have so much money and properties..... Life has always felt...."
"Incomplete," Hannah completed his words.
"I hope too much, I love too much, I don't know.... I don't feel human at times," Yuka shrugged folding his legs and staring at the ground.
Hannah had never seen such a situation, a rich influential boy, so kind and without pride. His life was truly awkward, incomplete and not making a bit sense, how would someone as
powerful as this be so confused. Power could force everything to work out, it was the key and way dragons believed in.
However this human is different.
"Yuka Hikano you will never be a human, once you accept that you will see a world out there with others like you, some of those guys will be good to you and others would definitely not, the world of Magic and beasts is real Yuka, you will either go to them, or they come to you." Hannah tried to cheer him up, this was her dragon way of doing it.
A world filled with magic? A fairytale yet untouched? A once in a lifetime opportunity!
Yuka grinned with a new energy in his heart, "let them come."
