Abilities: a power given to one's self, can usual be unlocked at age 5, and if your a late bloomer, theres a 10% chance of actually getting the ability, only from the Glass bottle of Serects, or a Serect Spirit, which are both farmed and handled by the Ability Government. Some don't even unlock theirs at all, and they are called Fakens.
Fakens: People who don't awaken their abilities, and are people who will maybe never will. When babies are born, they are required to take a test to see if they will have the chance to get a ability, and if the test says 'no,' the only chance they get to get an ability is by the Glass bottle of Serects or Serect Spirit, which only gives them a 10% chance of getting the ability it's self.
Glass bottle of Serects: A glass bottle containing the blood or tears of a Serect Spirit, and of a Curse named Sunless Bug.
Serect Spirit: The beings that started this whole ability thing in the first place, about a decade or two ago. Drink it's tears or blood and you have a 10% chance of actually getting a ability.
Ability Governments: Governments made for ability users, also called Unitys, and take the tests for the ability check. They are the ones who provide the doctors Glass bottles of Serects and farm the creatures that provide it to them. You can only find the bottles in their storage, and it's heavily guarded. They also take the complaints from the regular government, and they heavily despise the Fakens. The leaders are some of the powerful ability users to exist in the area, so they are hardly messed with.
Curses: Otherworldly beings or creatures of a different world that are founded in specific biomes like grassy hills or locks, caves, snowy mountains or sometimes in lakes and rivers. There's a lot of them in jungles, forests, or the desert, but mostly jungles are the best places. Swampy Curses aren't discovered. Yet.
Unity: Another name for the ability users. Fated Locks are another kind too.
Fated Locks: People who awakened at age 5, are rare, because if a child has a powerful ability, they might not survive the force of it, especially if the child is weak with a sickness or isn't well fed. There is only a 50/50 chance of the child surviving, plus the chance of the child actually being a Fated Lock is 0.0005, so it's becoming a extremely rare sight to see one.
