"After I connected to the Angel Blade Seven, I used their technology to locate and eliminate all the demons. During this period, I also copied all the data from the Blade Seven's database!"
"The data includes, but is not limited to, the known universe's scope, the development and intelligence of various civilizations within it, and their technological theories!"
"And the most important information pertains to the highest civilization in the current universe: the Angels' technology. This includes combat celestial bodies, genetic technology, dark plane technology, dark matter cloud computing, dark energy, and more!"
"Additionally, after the battle, we obtained the demon's celestial computer: the Void Universe Engine from the Angels!"
"While much of the data overlaps with what we acquired from Blade Seven, the demons are the universe's foremost experts in space and wormhole research, which is incredibly important to us!"
Aiden spoke each word with precision, revealing what should have been highly confidential information.
This decision was made after lengthy discussions between Ethan and Aiden. The technological theories contained within the Angels' and demons' data were simply too vast. Even excluding the Angel and demon technologies, the collected data on various space-faring civilizations' technologies was already immense. While most of these civilizations followed a path similar to the Divine River System, there were still many theories and technologies that Aiden found valuable.
Nova, under Ethan's leadership, could not progress solely along the Divine River's technological path, but it still needed to absorb its strengths. The space-faring civilizations, despite their similarities to Divine River technology, contained valuable theories that could greatly benefit Nova.
Angel and demon technologies, essentially derivatives of Divine River technology, were not immediately useful to Nova at its current stage—they were too advanced. To fully grasp these technologies would require considerable time. Nova would not use the Angels' and demons' technologies directly but would rather draw inspiration from their strengths while discarding their weaknesses.
Given the vast theoretical data, it was unrealistic for Aiden alone to comprehend it all, even as a quantum lifeform. Only by harnessing the collective wisdom of all of Nova could this knowledge be digested quickly and developed into independent technology.
Moreover, Aiden was not concerned about the Angels detecting their stolen knowledge through dark information retrieval. The Angels had left behind a dark information blocker, which Aiden promptly reprogrammed using the Void Universe Engine. With the computational power of the quantum network built over the past year, it was now impossible for ordinary Angels to glean any information from Nova. In the future, with the Void Universe Engine powered by twenty heavy matter fusion reactors, it would be possible to completely hide Nova and its nearby satellites' dark information. Unless an Angel of the highest rank personally came to investigate, no one would be able to detect any information about Nova.
"However, fully understanding these technologies requires more than just an AI like myself. We need everyone to come together and concentrate all our wisdom to integrate this knowledge and develop our unique technological path for Nova!"
"I will categorize this knowledge by technological level and gradually pass it on to the Academy of Sciences."
Aiden's words left the audience astounded, their faces reflecting their shock.
"Divine Leader, forgive me for interrupting, but what this AI named Aiden has just revealed is beyond belief, making it hard for us to accept."
"Therefore, I must ask, is everything he said true?"
"And another thing, our Academy of Sciences has been researching AI, but so far, all we've achieved are weak AIs. None have shown independent thought like Aiden. How did he come about?"
The speaker was an older man named Leonard Smith, the director of the Academy of Sciences. He led all scientific development within Nova.
Upon hearing Leonard, Aiden looked to Ethan. After Leonard spoke, Ethan saw Aiden looking his way. He adjusted his microphone and smiled as he began to speak.
"Director Smith and esteemed vice directors, please take your seats. I will explain everything clearly."
After Ethan's assurance, Leonard and the others sat down, waiting for his explanation.
Ethan cleared his throat and began to speak.
"First, let me address Director Smith's first question. Everything Aiden said is true."
"From copying the Blade Seven's data to obtaining the Void Universe Engine from the Angels post-battle, it's all true."
"I didn't reveal this immediately because I wasn't sure if the Angels had left any surveillance on Nova after they departed."
"Angels possess a technology called the Eye of Insight, which can uncover all of Nova's secrets regardless of how well they're hidden."
"The Blade Seven's data involves core Angel interests. If they found out we had stolen it, they would instantly turn from allies to enemies."
"So, I chose to keep this secret until Nova had a way to defend against the Eye of Insight."
"That's the first reason. The second reason is that the data is overwhelmingly vast and disorganized. Besides technologies from various space-faring civilizations and the Angels' and demons' technologies, there are many other advanced technologies."
"Without Aiden's organization, handing over this unclassified data could overwhelm you, possibly leading Nova down their scientific paths."
"They've been on those paths for tens of thousands of years. Do we believe we can surpass them simply because we have their data?"
"I hope everyone understands my point."
"The Void Universe Engine contains the demons' top space and wormhole technology, but the Blade Seven's data does not represent the highest Angel technology."
### Chapter 52: The Path Forward
Ethan paused to let his words sink in before continuing.
"For Nova to surpass them in the future, we must forge our own path."
"We might not surpass them by following their exact paths, but who says we have to follow the Angels' and demons' paths to exceed them?"
"So, while this data is important, it is not indispensable."
"We will draw on it, but not imitate it."
"We must combine their strengths and develop our unique Nova technology!"
"This is Nova's goal for the future."
Leonard nodded in agreement.
"Even if we obtain this knowledge, we cannot expect to develop it all in a short time. The Divine Leader is correct!"
"What about Aiden then?"
Ethan continued his explanation.
"Director Smith, do you remember Project 117 from over a decade ago?"
"Project 117?"
Leonard quickly searched his memory and then exclaimed.
"Project 117? The one that was mysteriously canceled?"
Ethan nodded.
"Yes, Director Smith!"
"But it wasn't canceled. It was transferred. All data and personnel were moved underground to form the now top-secret Nova Laboratory!"
"The reason for the transfer was Aiden's creation!"
Ethan's revelation left Leonard astounded.
He had personally approved Project 117 and selected the personnel. The project aimed to integrate quantum computing with artificial intelligence.
"So, that's it! Project 117 was transferred because it gave birth to Aiden, the true AI!"
"But, Divine Leader, the transfer of Project 117 dealt a severe blow to the Academy's quantum computing and AI research. It took years to restart these areas!"
Ethan smiled and shook his head.
"Director Smith, do not lament. Aiden will fully support Nova's development!"
"In the future, the Nova Laboratory will merge with the Academy of Sciences, combining all our resources and intelligence!"
Leonard's spirit lifted. He had only heard occasional mentions of the Nova Laboratory from Zachary Thompson, but whenever he inquired, Zachary simply stated that the lab was of the highest confidentiality and couldn't be disclosed.
The more Leonard was denied knowledge, the more curious he became. He considered himself one of Nova's top scientists, having contributed significantly to its progress from its early days of cold weapons to the brink of interstellar travel. And now, he finally understood that the Nova Laboratory, controlled and researched by Aiden, was behind almost all of Nova's cutting-edge technology.
Hearing Ethan's plan to merge the Nova Laboratory with the Academy of Sciences, Leonard stood up excitedly.
"I understand, Divine Leader!"
"The entire Academy will not disappoint Nova and its people!"
Ethan nodded in satisfaction and gestured for Leonard to sit down.
"Alright, Aiden, please continue."
"Yes, Divine Leader!"
Aiden nodded and continued.
"Everyone, what I just discussed was the first matter."
"Now, onto the second matter. Please take a look!"
With a wave of Aiden's right hand, a holographic screen appeared in the Nova Hall, clearly visible from all angles.
The screen showed Nova and its three moons. On Nova's equatorial orbit, a metallic ring began to form, different from Nova's natural rings. This artificial ring was larger, made of metal, and would house numerous starships traveling between Nova, the ring, and the moons.
"This is the second matter and Nova's developmental goal for the coming decades!"
"The Nova Celestial Defense Plan!"
The audience fell silent, their astonishment evident, waiting for Aiden to continue.
"This plan integrates achievable technologies from the Blade Seven's database and the Void Universe Engine with Nova's existing technology."
"The plan consists of three main parts!"
"First: the Star Ring Defense Project!"
"Second: the Nova Particle Accelerator!"
"Third: the Nova Satellite Construction Project!"
"Firstly, the Star Ring Defense Project!"
"The heavy matter fusion reactor was successfully tested yesterday and will soon be operational!"
"The accompanying starship project is complete, awaiting only the fusion reactor's activation! With the energy output from the fusion reactor and the latest propulsion systems, our starships can now break free from Nova's gravity and venture into space!"
"The Star Ring Defense Project is designed to defend against potential future enemies!"
"I have detailed plans on its implementation!"
"First, we need to build numerous space elevators at the equator to transport construction materials!"
"Previously, we couldn't achieve this because we couldn't escape Nova's gravity into outer space."
"But now we can!"
"As for materials, Nova's resources can withstand its gravitational pressure!"
"The only threat is meteors, but our starships can handle them
once they are in space!"
"After the space elevators are built, the construction of the Star Ring Defense Project will commence. This project has no significant technical difficulties but requires a lot of time."
"Construction will be carried out by automated systems and engineering robots. The recently completed quantum matrix network ensures precise control with minimal error. However, human oversight will still be necessary."
"The second project, the Nova Particle Accelerator, involves constructing a high-energy particle accelerator around the Star Ring!"
"This project is primarily for Nova's scientific and technological advancement!"
"This plan can start when the Star Ring Defense Project reaches 5% completion, posing minimal risk!"
"Again, this will be built by automated systems and engineering robots!"
