"Today nine people have completed the second level magic exam, and fifteen people have completed the first level magic exam. Five people passed the third level magic exam, and they can continue the class by going to the next level of class, the eagle class."
Esmeralda was tense as she had finally completed her first-level magic exam, and Master Redric mentioned her name among the fifteen who had passed.
"Oh my... I finally passed my first test!" Yuriel stretched his arms as he said with a sigh of relief, upon hearing his name mentioned just now. He had failed so many times, but finally, after staying up all night to study, he was able to finish his first-level magic exam.
"You look pretty good!" A girl with straight hair tied to the side, and with a gold-colored hairpin with a snake pattern came to Esmeralda's table. Her hands were holding a large book, and her face was so full of confidence. The girl reached out to Esmeralda and said,
"Next we'll be friends. Since I've already passed the second level exam, maybe next month I'll be able to advance. But I realize your potential, I hope you can finish all your exams soon and follow me to the eagle class." The girl said proudly.
Esmeralda was only stunned seeing Esmeralda who did not immediately shake her hand; the girl took the initiative to take the girl's handshake.
"My name is Jeanette, remember that!" She said, smiling, then left from there.
"Eww... so arrogant, she's feeling proud as if she's about to pass the third level exam!" Yuriel said dismissively while sticking out his tongue, making a mocking face at Jeanette who was walking out the door.
"Are you close to her?" Esmeralda asked Yuriel.
"Huh, that arrogant girl... every practice she makes comments about me. Even called me a fat stupid pig!" said Yuriel irritably as he raised his chin and folded his arms across his chest.
"The day after tomorrow is the weekly practical class, she will deliberately sit close to me just to criticize my magic spells!" said Yuriel again.
Esmeralda nodded, she didn't want to ask any more questions, choosing to leave the class because the class hour had ended.

This was the school hall, very large and grand. There are sturdy walls with candles hanging that will never go out. The floor was made of marble stone with thick red carpeting. There were also rows of plush, red, gold-plated chairs.
Esmeralda didn't know how she got to this place. Originally, she wanted to take a short walk before returning to the dormitory, but because she was too engrossed in walking alone, she didn't realize she had passed through a winding hallway and arrived at this room.
"Hey, hide quickly!" Suddenly, someone whispered, making Esmeralda immediately startled, and she crawled under the chair to hide. The girl looked back, but there was no one making her stand up immediately.
"Stay there!" At that instant, Esmeralda's eyes bulged; she was shocked as the hazel-eyed man pushed her shoulder back into her seat and put his forefinger to his lips, signaling her to be quiet.
Soon, the sound of someone's steps could be heard, breaking the silence in the hall. The jingling of keys followed, followed by Marylin walking alone towards the closet at the end of the room.
"What is she doing?" thought Esmeralda to herself. The girl, still watching from the crack of her chair, saw Marylin, who was looking around to make sure no one was around, unlock the closet door and see a large box inside.
Marilyn, sticking her hand out, hummed a few sentences, she tapped the box wall a few times to the rhythm of her singing. Soon, the sound of the lock opening was heard; the woman then entered the box and disappeared.
"What's going on!" Esmeralda asked frantically, turning around to find the face of the man who was now so close to her. Their eyes accidentally met, at which point Esmeralda recoiled in fear, realizing that the man was a spirit.
"Aaakkh...!"
"Calm down, don't scream! Someone might come!" Pleaded the man trying to get closer to the frightened Esmeralda.
"Stay away... I said stay away!" The girl's scream made the man instantly stop, his body slowly became mist, gradually with a sad look on his face the man turned into air and disappeared.
Esmeralda still couldn't get rid of her fear. She hurriedly got up, and with quick steps, she ran away from there.
"This is crazy!"
Inside the dormitory room with eight beds for eight children, two of them were currently fighting over a small magic necklace.
"I told you I didn't mean to!" snapped one of the girls with black hair braided in two.
The shoulder-length-haired girl in front of her still didn't believe it; she pushed the braided girl in front of her and yelled at her to compensate while cursing her.
A huge commotion ensued afterward; the girl who didn't accept retaliated by grabbing the shoulder-length-haired girl who pushed her. A severe fight was inevitable.
"How noisy!" Esmeralda muttered while trying to cover her ears with a pillow.
"Brakk!"
The door was rudely opened revealing the fierce madam Lenoitte. She entered with her long magic wand. Her eyes glared fiercely, her mouth wide open with one breath ready to scream in the room.
"STOP...!" Her shout echoed out into a strong wind that blew away the blankets and belongings in the room. Instantly all the children fell silent, their hair a mess after being blown away by the wind. Just then Madam Lenoitte entered, her fierce face looking very scary. A very disciplined person, Madam Lenoitte hated noise at bedtime. She walked a few steps forward looking at the children who were making noise one by one, again she sucked in her breath, preparing to shout much louder than before,
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING AT BEDTIME!!!" His shout echoed making the room instantly shake. She then raised her wand, taped the mouths of the noisy children, and flew them onto the bed. Esmeralda pretended to be asleep out of fear, she could only watch from under the covers as Madam Lenoitte turned off all the lights with her magic and left the room after taping the mouths of all the noisy children.
At that moment the room suddenly became silent. But now, Esmeralda had a new problem, she just couldn't sleep after the chaos just now. No matter how hard she tried, she still couldn't close her eyes and fall asleep. The girl then opened the blanket and kicked it in a huff,
"What should I do, I can't sleep!" she muttered until a soft voice whispered,
"I know what's fun"
"AKHH!!!"
