Sophia walked into Julian's office, her head held high despite the defeat she had suffered. Julian looked up from his desk, his eyes cold and unforgiving.
"Sophia, you've played a dangerous game, and now it's time to pay the price," he said, his voice icy.
Sophia's eyes flashed with defiance, but Julian continued, his words dripping with venom. "You've tried to destroy me, to ruin my reputation and my business. But I'm the one who's come out on top. And now, you'll pay the price for your arrogance."
Julian's eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing. "I'll bankrupt you, Sophia. I'll take everything you own, every penny, every asset. You'll be left with nothing. No money, no friends, no reputation. You'll be a shell of your former self, a mere shadow of the woman you once were."
Sophia's face went white as Julian's words hit her like a ton of bricks. She knew she was beaten, and that Julian would show no mercy.
"And that's not all," Julian continued, his voice dripping with malice. "I'll make sure that no one ever does business with you again. You'll be a pariah, a laughingstock, a cautionary tale of what happens when you cross Julian Saint Clair."
Sophia's eyes filled with tears as she realized the extent of her defeat. She knew she was finished, that Julian had won. And she knew that she would never recover from the ruthless punishment he had meted out.
