Chapter One:
The silver moon hung high in the sky, lightening the forest path below. The wind was still, the silence deafening. Everything was calm, except for the rapid beating of Pandora's heart.
What had she brought upon her? There was no one around to save her. What was a princess like her doing beyond the four walls of her palace and at a time like this?
A wolf howled from her left and Pandora dashed for the right. There were closing in on her with every passing second, she could feel their energy.
Desperation and fear engulfed her heart as she darted though the trees and shrubs, breathing in short gasps. Where was Dorian when she needed him?
Surely he didn't leave her here all alone. "Yet… yet again… I've fallen for… that troublesome boy's tricks." She murmured as she ran.
At that moment, she froze, feeling an intense stare on her back. Was this another hunter coming after her?
