Chapter Forty-Seven: Eat Healthily
Sir Bennett felt sober as he recounted the tragedy that hurt a good family he knew were happy.
Since then, Alexandria had been playing the role of happy shining child to hide the darkness that once enveloped his home.
"You are right but these attacks by Dark Mages again, if I tell them that their son got kidnapped, they'd lose their head in panic and—"
"Then don't tell them." Zenith folded his sleeves up, as his body felt uncomfortably agitated. "If I am his teacher, such tragedy will never happen to him again."
He felt protective towards the young boy. Six years ago, he couldn't fully support Escanor because he had also lost someone during that war, his older sister who took care of the orphans.
This time, he didn't want to focus on only himself and make sure another potential Mage wouldn't go to the Dark path, if he could help it.
