Chapter Hundred Thirty-One:
Zenith sat on the lake within his portal, watching the phoenix stone that was evaporating every strand of water he brought close to it.
He had been there for almost ten minutes and would be missing the beauty contest but it didn't bother him. He already knew the outcome.
"Escanor, are you free?" he linked to the young man.
"Always. Why?"
Zenith searched for his whereabouts and linked a portal to him so he could meet him. He brought the phoenix stone closer and it was getting really hot.
He couldn't tell if there was life within the stone and only a Mage that dealt with spirits or dead people should know. Escanor walked out of the portal.
"Are you feeling better now? You were at the time of your month earlier." Zenith raised the stone to him.
