At that timing when Chun'er lowered her hand and the ball of condensed force in her hand disappeared, so did the purple energy in Dexter Esther's hand and the ones coming for Chun'er.
Dexter Esther landed a hit on the girl's back purely of her own strength and the girl slid forward.
Dexter Esther huffed. "There's no need to leave you badly injured. Do you accept your defeat?"
Chun'er's eyes were widened as she expected the melting of her skin, her breathing became faster and she clenched her fists.
It'd have been better if she got hit than spared and had to accept the defeat, but she knew there's no use getting hit.
She bowed her head, feeling ashamed but slightly grateful. "I accept defeat, thank you." Dexter Esther nodded and turned to Layla with a smile.
Layla smiled back and gave her a thumps up. At least, she was nice enough not to bully the junior student, unlike Lilian and Nephis had done.
