Chapter Hundred-Twenty-Three: Competitions
Zenith casted another veil around the audience and Nephis became alert for danger. Her teacher casting a veil around the place may be a sign to her to protect herself from something coming.
Something that could even affect those outside the veil. She immediately coated her body with water and stiffened it but became worried when her opponent wore a small smirk.
The girl slowly widened her hand and a green gas emitted from her body and spread around the veil. Nephis waited for it to make any specific attack but it just covered the veil and rather quickly.
She watched it pass through her water protection and touched her skin but she didn't notice any melting or skin irritation, till her nose caught it.
She held her nose and mouth tightly, crouching down slightly as the smell churned her stomach violently. The cage of water couldn't protect her from the smell!
