Chapter 27 - A call for wallace - II

Brandon did not want to follow her, but once he had started, he had no option but to continue doing it.

The way she walked, she helped some kind of position in the company. People looked at her, a few greeted her, a few ignored her altogether. But she seemed young, younger than Megan so what position was she in?

"What department do you work for, if you don't mind me asking?" he realized he should have asked her that before but oh well.

"In a few minutes, you will see for yourself." She replied curtly and Brandon felt her reply to razor sharp.

He hid the back of her head. She was rude to the fold. By the looks of her, if someone did an autopsy on her, he would find cold blood running through her veins.

He followed her to the lift, watched as she pressed the button, also watched as she put some kind of password inside, and then followed her out again.

The floor was unlike any other he had been on, and he had been on quite a few floors in the time he had worked at the archer group. It was a clean floor, only one reception desk, until a double door came in front of them. It seemed awfully familiar—

"Sir, may I send him in?"

Sir?

She stepped back, held the door open for him that Brandon took over and stepped inside the room only for his eyes to meet dark gray ones.

"You!" Brandon, pointed his finger in the air, towards the man he was accusing. "What are you doing here?"

With a hand in the air, Killian gave it a wave around. "Here, as in my office or here, as in the building I own?"

Right here, he owns everything. Will not me. Of course, he doesn't owe me! But that's beside the point—

Brandon chose to close his eyes. It was difficult to sync when he stood in front of her.

He pursued his lips forward, just for a quick thought when he tasted the salt Ness in his mouth again. He followed thickly and quickly, eager to get rid of it all.

He was not thinking about that.

"What's wrong?" Killian asked, however, giving nothing in return. "Why don't you take one of the seats in front of me?"

Brandon glanced at them. hadn't been anyone else, he would not have thought twice and would have occupied one of them, but it was him, him they were talking about. Sitting was a far thought, and Brandon did not even want to be on his side.

So he said the most logical thing he could have done next. Brandon turned around, reached for the door handle and pulled.

It did not bulge.
