Brandon had woken up early this morning, which meant he had also come to the office earlier than usual.
Just as he was about to return to his laptop, a small box of Tupperware was kept on his table.
Glancing at it once, he turned to look at who had given it to him. "Megan."
"Hi," she whispered, waving along, " I did not realise how long it had been since I picked anything. When I got home, I realised I had to clean my oven face because I had stopped occupying it and had not used it for years. Then I got to baking and none of the measurements made sense because I had forgotten the ratios. So I could just make some basic chocolate chip cookies."
"Basic?" He picked the bag up, and the smell became more apparent since it was closer to him. "It smells heavenly. Do you mind if I taste it?"
