I knew these people, I just was not sure where it was that I knew them from but my head understood that those faces were ones I had known as a child.
"Master!" The woman of the duo was the first to speak, the man just hiding behind her while trying to make sure that the master knew that they were speaking of the same mind. "We did all that you asked." Her voice quivered and I knew the fear that was in her mind was just enough to make her fall to the ground and make the ground swallow her up.
Alpha Nicholas laughed. He was enjoying all of these too much but I did not care as long as Nathan was smart and sensible enough not to sell his future pack. I did not think it was a good idea and it was never going to be a good idea to me as long as it was Alpha Nicholas.
"Did you now?" Alpha Nicholas asked the woman although most of his gaze was fixed on the man, as if expecting something from him.
