I watched as the man I had hated my whole life smiled as he typed away on his phone. Nothing made him happy except when his plan was going according to how he imagined it in his head and now was now an exception. Of everything that could possibly go wrong, nothing has gone in that direction just yet. Jasmine was in his dungeon and Nathan was on his way here. There was nothing else he could want and that meant he was done with me, eventually. I had the freedom I had been looking forward to for years.
"Can I leave now, Master?"
Calling him my dad as opposed to 'Master' that everyone in the pack called him instead of Alpha felt wrong. He always felt and said Alpha was not too big a word to acknowledge who he actually was to the whole pack. He was our master, me inclusive.
