I pulled my face forward, forcing the air that was not lodged in my mouth out. I cleared my eyes by blinking multiple times, waiting to wake up so I could confirm that what had just happened was a dream but it was no dream. With each second that passed, I knew I was really in deep with it with Nathan.
I sighed, it was fine but it was not. I wished things could have happened differently but I knew no other way to care than the way I did.
"Ma'am." I looked up to see the medical personnel whom I harassed earlier.
The shame that gripped me at the thought of what I did to her made me uncomfortable just looking at her. There was no way to say sorry that was going to be good enough and that was a torment for me on my part.
