JASMINE
Nathan refused to come see me and it had been two days since we last spoke. I could not understand it. Even if Finn was in the picture, he was not supposed to be that mad about it. They were friends and were not supposed to be against each other, even if it had to do with a woman. I could not fathom it but who was I to talk?
I also wondered how they were both convinced they were each my mate if my wolf could not make any connection. If it was physical attraction, it had to be a lie. With all I had gone through, there was no way someone would come to me and tell me they were attracted to me when I knew how I looked, skinny, rough and like someone who had never lived in a decent place all her life.
I had other things to think about, the issue of Nathan and Finn being the topmost and the issue of getting how to make my wolf readily active whenever I needed it followed closely. If just for comfort, I needed my wolf and there was no doubt about that.
