"Who is there?" My main priority was Jasmine and I meant what I said. Whoever was at the door would have to go through me first before they got to her.
There was no reply but the knock came again. I could not trust it but I could leave the door closed, that meant I was scared and Frankly, I was not scared of anyone and I did not want anyone at the door to think that was the case.
For the last time, I asked. "Whoever is out there should better say their name or that is the end of it. You can leave if you are not ready."
"It's Finn."
I saw Jasmine flinch but not from fear, she was excited for him to be there but I could not say the same for myself. I did not know what he was doing here or how he found the place and I did not care. He was not coming in and that was it.
"Please, let him come in. Is he okay? What if he came here because he is in trouble."
