Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Life as a Porter

The SS rank dungeon loomed ominously before Yeon-woo and his companions, its dark aura sending chills down their spines. As they cautiously made their way through the labyrinthine corridors, tension hung thick in the air, each step filled with uncertainty and danger.

Despite the gravity of their situation, Yeon-woo couldn't help but feel a sense of exhilaration coursing through his veins. This was what he had always dreamed of: facing off against the most powerful monsters and overcoming insurmountable odds.

But as they delved deeper into the dungeon, it became clear that their journey would not be easy. They encountered vicious creatures at every turn, each more ferocious than the last. With Soo-ji's illusions and Yeon-woo's newfound abilities, they managed to navigate the treacherous terrain, but the constant threat of danger loomed over them like a dark cloud.

As they reached the heart of the dungeon, they stumbled upon a hidden chamber filled with ancient relics and artifacts. Among them was a shining pill, its surface pulsating with an otherworldly energy. Yeon-woo's eyes widened in awe as he reached out to touch it, his fingers trembling with anticipation.

But before he could grasp the pill, a monstrous creature emerged from the shadows, its eyes blazing with fury. It was Snake, an SS ranker with the power of snake manipulation, and he had no intention of letting anyone else lay claim to the coveted treasure.

With a roar of rage, Snake lunged at Yeon-woo, his serpentine form twisting and writhing with deadly precision. Yeon-woo braced himself for the onslaught, his heart pounding in his chest as he prepared to face his greatest challenge yet.

But just as Snake's fangs were about to sink into his flesh, Yeon-woo's instincts kicked in. With lightning-fast reflexes, he dodged out of the way, narrowly avoiding the lethal strike. In a desperate bid for survival, he summoned all of his strength and unleashed a flurry of attacks, each one striking true with deadly accuracy.

Despite his best efforts, Snake proved to be a formidable opponent, his powerful attacks pushing Yeon-woo to the brink of exhaustion. But just when all seemed lost, Yeon-woo's determination ignited like a flame, fueling his resolve to emerge victorious.

With a final, decisive blow, Yeon-woo struck down Snake, his body collapsing to the ground in a heap. As he lay there, panting and bruised, a sense of triumph washed over him, mingled with a profound sense of relief.

But his victory was short-lived. As he reached out to claim the shining pill, a sudden pain shot through his chest, causing him to cry out in agony. He looked down in horror to see a gaping wound, dark tendrils of energy snaking their way through his body.

Twist: Before he could comprehend what was happening, Yeon-woo's vision blurred and darkness closed in around him. When he regained consciousness, he found himself back in his 15-year-old self, reliving the tragic events of his family's demise during a monster outbreak. But something was different this time. Could this be another twist of fate, or had he been given a second chance to change the course of his destiny?
