"Congratulations, madam. It's a girl." A nurse handed a new born child to an exhausted mother, who couldn't help herself from smiling ear to ear.
The nurse could tell the woman was excited to have a baby girl again, but she couldn't understand why her husband also looked at the little girl as if he couldn't get his eyes off her. The couple already had three girls, anyway.
In her years of practice, it was the first time the nurse was seeing a father who was excited to have four girls.
With a shake of her head, the nurse stepped away from the couples, wrapping up things in the ward.
"Sweetheart, I just got news that our passport situation has been sorted. We can finally travel to Coprean Hills when you're fully recovered."
The woman beamed brighter, as she began to imagine how she would enjoy the company of her friends after being apart for four years.
