"Who the heck fed you poison, Cyrina?"
Iris' words caused all the others to become alarmed. The ladies got together to have a hearty meal before heading to the Second Chance orphanage later on. Clarissa was to get her adopted children after going through all the processes, and the others wanted to show their support for her.
However, Rachel's huge belly kept distracting Iris, as she felt that her sister could go into labour at any time. She was a white witch, but could only predict that her sister would go into labour anytime soon. Iris couldn't tell the specific date, though. Iris' attention had been on Rachel lately, as her pregnancy was already full-term.
If Cyrina had not requested her to place her hands on her belly, Iris wouldn't have found out that someone had fed her friend poison. It was obvious the person wanted to kill both Cyrina and her babies.
