"Lucia, thank you for coming to see me." Malcolm Miller reached out to hold Lucia's hand, only to have her withdraw with a jittery expression.
"They said, no touching." She then looked around left and right, and above her shoulders, as if she was trying to say something that made her feel uneasy.
"What!" Malcolm hit the table in front of him with huge force, causing Lucia to flinch at the loud sound. She had on an extremely terrified expression that made everyone else around feel that she was scared out of her wits, but could only remain loyal to Malcolm.
"What do you mean by Lawyer Mendez has been arrested?" Malcolm reduced his voice, caring less about Lucia's scared look. He reckoned he might as well use her fear of him to his advantage.
