Tyler Harper sat upright after listening to what the caller had to say. When he thought he heard enough, he probed impatiently, "Where are you?"
And that was the last thing Shadow heard before the car suddenly became almost empty, save for him at the steering wheel.
Tyler vanished from sight, and if he had not been watching from the rearview mirror, he wouldn't have noticed how he just left after listening to the caller's response.
Whatever caught his attention must be very urgent, and Shadow had a feeling it had something to do with tye Lady boss.
"Boss… What do I do with your guest?" Shadow spoke to no one in particular, as his gaze lingered on the back seat briefly, before he zoomed off onto the quiet road. His destination was exactly where he was supposed to go with the boss. Shadow couldn't help himself from lamenting about how he always ended up with all these weird beings from the dominos camp.
