"Rachel… Rachel… Kiddo… We need to talk really quick. Please come out." Iris looked left and right to be sure no one was lingering around her sister's villa. She then held the front door and turned the knob with a little urgency. She was dumbfounded to find it easily opening with a click. "The door's not locked? That's strange."
Since she lived alone, Rachel always locked her door - it was not her usual practice to leave the front door open. Iris suddenly had a gut feeling that something was awfully wrong.
However, she tiptoed and quietly moved into the sitting room. She thought her sister was sleeping since the house was relatively quiet. Rather, what met her eyes was the most gory scene she had ever encountered.
Lying in a large pull of her own blood, was Rachel, with her back to the cold tiled floor, bleeding from the space between her thighs and her mouth.
