"Cyrina, try Rachel's number again." Iris proposed as soon as she stepped out of the inner room. Both Cyrina and Tim were still discussing the situation as they waited for Iris. Her reaction was too unexpected for them to ignore.
Cyrina quickly went into what she was asked to do, while Tim was also given his instructions.
"Get the police to check on the informant. If my guess is correct, she's already dead." Iris said as she walked towards the door, confusing Tim about her sudden utterance.
When Iris noticed the two people following her, she turned towards Cyrina and said, "Stay here till you hear from me. If anyone would come to pick you up, I'll let you know."
Iris was clear that she didn't wish to have Cyrina going with her. The young lady could stay and take care of things in her absence, all the while being safe in the office space. She couldn't tell what to expect out there.
