Mrs Capsian sat in the garden of the luxurious Capsian mansion. There was a delectable spread of pastries on her table, but she couldn't touch a single one. She had lost appetite for the past three days and had been living on water to sustain her body. When she tried to hold the glass of water on the table, her hand slipped and knocked a few other things. In her bid to prevent the things from scattering on the table, the glass of water fell to the ground and shattered into pieces.
The older woman trembled slightly, but removed her hand from the table to hide her shaky state. It was as if someone else was watching her, and she didn't want anyone to see her in that state.
Her frustration was consuming her, as she didn't know how to find out about Iris. She tried everything possible, but there was no way to find out about Iris' state of health.
"Madam, this just came for you." A guard walked toward her from behind, startling the already shaken woman.
