"Are you challenging me now, little boy?"
Orton Hunter mocked, seeing how his nephew suddenly grew some balls overnight. He didn't know what Zack had been exposed to out there, but he was certain that there had never been a day when Zack had shown such defiance towards him. The coward always cowered in his presence, and he couldn't even have the courage to look him in the face.
"Zachary Hunter! This is how you repay me? After overseeing our clan since your father got deleted by that curse, is this what I get? You stepping on me like I am nobody?" He fired at the young man, seemingly hurt by his actions.
"Nobody. A nobody. Uncle Orton, that's how you made me feel for the past twelve years. Yet, you have the cheek to talk about being treated like a nobody because the rightful heir to the throne is now ready to take over? Tell me, why didn't you hand over the throne when I turned nineteen? After all, that was the agreement you had with my father, right?"
