"Mr Henshaw, what do you say about starting work immediately?" Iris asked the young lawyer, Wilson Henshaw, who Hector and Cyrina saved from the clutches of death a few days ago.
Wilson knew that if not for Iris' people, he would have died a painful death, or got kidnapped without anyone to speak up for him or pay his ransom. That option would have resulted in an agonizing death all the same. He pretended to be calm, but Iris knew his gratitude ran deep.
"Ms Bowman, I don't think you know what's happening at the moment. I am being chased up and down by some powerful people. They want me dead at all costs, and whoever associates himself with me would end up with dire consequences." The young man bypassed Iris' question about resuming work at once and told her about everything she stood to lose by offering him a job in her organization.
