"Ms Bowman, good to finally meet you." Mrs Capsian had a dashing smile on her lips that any ignorant person would be tempted to believe she was sincere. If Iris hadn't heard the woman call her a vixen in her thoughts just now, she could have fallen for her fake smile.
"I wish I could say the same about you, Mrs Capsian." Iris declared with an equally dashing smile that nearly blinded the woman. Iris' smiles were even brighter and more captivating, seemingly more sincere. However, the words that came out of her mouth were unpleasant. Mrs Capsian couldn't believe Iris would respond like that.
"Ms Bowman, I don't think we need hostility between us. I came to have a chat with you. Woman to woman." Mrs Bowman's smile faltered as she spoke. She knew Iris wasn't an easy woman to deal with, and even her bluntness wasn't a good trait in the business world, but it showed the young lady wouldn't stand on ceremony with her.
