"Where could he have gone to?" Cyrina blurted out in panic, after realizing that the person had just disappeared from the street. She looked everywhere, but couldn't spot him among the sea of people on the road.
Soon, Hector found a spot to pack the car, got down quickly and headed toward a certain direction.
"Stay in the car." He addressed her when he noticed her trying to follow him. Hector drove her to get this person, so that they would meet Iris later.
He had seen how dedicated she was to her work since Iris found her, and wasn't willing to allow her bear the brunt of this huge error. The young man was Iris' secret weapon at the meeting, and he wasn't going to make Cyrina commit this blunder. They were a team, and Hector felt he needed to support her.
