"You've got to be kidding me, Tyler. Why on earth would I agree to that?" Iris wasn't having his suggestion, because it didn't make any sense to drain him just to save her.
"You are the best gift to my family members and loved ones. I cannot allow anything to go wrong by allowing you to drain your blood for me. What if we both die in the process?" Her words hit him hard, and Tyler laughed out loud.
Tyler crashed his lips against hers and subtly sucked on her lower lips till he tasted blood. When he was certain it was hers, he bit his tongue and allowed her to drink his blood, thinking it was hers.
He then invaded her mouth, and their tongues fought for dominance. When he noticed she had enough of his blood, Tyler made some incantations before letting her go. Iris suddenly realized what had just happened, and slapped his shoulder angrily.
