Iris stormed off after making the phone call. She didn't have time to waste on arguing with the people in the room. Everyone wondered who she called, or what they just discussed, but she didn't care. She knew her man wouldn't disappoint her. Penelope even felt that Iris was crazy, but she was yet to understand what true madness was.
"Iris, I was looking all over for you." Rachel approached, looking tense. "Your friend suffered from haematemesis. But she'll live. It's our luck that she got treatment in time, otherwise, it would have been fatal. For now, we'll keep her here for a few days."
Iris sighed heavily, thankful that Cyrina and her mother successfully escaped the clutches of death.
"Thank you, Rachel." She hugged her sister briefly before breaking the hug, leaving Rachel shocked.
Iris took a few steps before she turned around, "How does getting a hospital as a congratulatory gift sound?" She gave a mischievous wink before walking away happily.
