"Erm, boss, there's a problem. It's about Ms Penny." One of Drew's men walked up to him at the dining table. The young man bowed to the couple before speaking.
Drew looked the man squarely in the eyes and reigned in his anger after a short while. He knew his subordinate wouldn't have been so bold to interrupt them at that time if the issue wasn't quite urgent.
"Excuse me, babe. I'll be right back." Cyrina nodded understandingly, watching Drew walk off after pecking her at the corner of her lips.
She knew the conversation had something to do with her, but she decided to allow her husband to handle everything, not concerning herself with the extras.
Cyrina resolved to only prioritise her husband's needs so that their marriage could have a chance. Even if it was the slightest chance of success, she didn't care about the rest of his family's opinion of her anymore. She would give her all.
