"I'll go take a look." Flynn raised his hands and was out of sight before Shadow could register what happened. Flynn just leapt up the storey building as if it were child's play. If Shadow had not seen so many inexplicable things while at Tyler's side, he would have been shocked at what his companion did. He only had to blink the shock away.
It's been a long time since he last saw the wolf in action, but his performance throughout the night has made him realize that Flynn has improved by leaps and bounds. He just couldn't tell how anyone could change like that - even after being held in detention for so long.
Soon, five masked men surrounded Shadow, when his mind was filled with thoughts of Flynn's increased prowess.
