Ning Xingchen had worked at Yunchuang Technology for a long time, and An Yuqing had never appeared before. It seemed that his rebirth had caused some subtle changes.
While An Yuqing was stopping Ning Xingchen, Fatty Zhang, realizing the severity of the situation, quickly called the police for help.
Lin Hao, visibly annoyed, stepped forward, kicked the phone out of Zhang Jun's hand, and punched him a few more times. The security guards couldn't stop this ferocious Lin Hao.
"Lin Hao, stop hitting him. Let's go," Ning Xingchen decided to punish Fatty Zhang in a more ruthless way.
"Fat pig, I'll spare you for now," Lin Hao said, giving Zhang Jun another kick.
After leaving the company, Ning Xingchen took Lin Hao straight to the parking lot. He pressed his car key, and a flashy, luxurious Ferrari lit up.
Lin Hao was slightly surprised and asked excitedly, "Chen, is this your car?"
"Yes, pretty nice, isn't it?" Ning Xingchen replied with a smile, opening the car door.
"Chen, I thought getting fired from the company meant no income. This is great. Following you will definitely be worthwhile. Your theft skills are amazing!" Lin Hao complimented as he got into the passenger seat.
"Screw you, I bought this car. Stealing it would be a waste of time," Ning Xingchen shot Lin Hao a glare.
"Seriously? This car must cost millions. Did you win the lottery or something?" Lin Hao asked incredulously.
"The lottery only goes up to five million."
"Oh, right," Lin Hao chuckled awkwardly. However, seeing Ning Xingchen suddenly become so wealthy made Lin Hao genuinely happy for him.
"Let's not talk about this. By the way, do you have the contact information for President Jiang?" Ning Xingchen asked.
"Yes, but President Jiang doesn't come to the company often and has been out of contact for a while. I'm not sure if he changed his number," Lin Hao said, pulling out his phone.
Ning Xingchen dialed the number Lin Hao provided and was surprised when it actually connected.
Lin Hao, standing nearby, was shocked to hear that Ning Xingchen wanted to buy Yunchuang Technology.
Ning Xingchen didn't expect things to go so smoothly. President Jiang agreed to meet, clearly planning to raise the price.
After hanging up the phone, Lin Hao urgently asked, "Chen, you're going to buy Yunchuang?"
"Yes, my plan was to start my own company, but recruiting employees and initial operations are quite troublesome. It's better to acquire Yunchuang. I'm familiar with this company and know who the talents and slackers are," Ning Xingchen explained.
"That's true. Yunchuang has some core technologies and a competitive edge in the market," Lin Hao agreed.
In the afternoon, Ning Xingchen and Jiang Wenshan, the chairman of Yunchuang Technology, arranged to meet at a high-end café.
"You must be Ning Xingchen," Jiang Wenshan greeted with a smile, having arrived earlier than Ning Xingchen.
"Didn't expect you to remember me, President Jiang," Ning Xingchen said as he sat down opposite Jiang Wenshan, with Lin Hao beside him.
"Of course, I remember. Six months ago, we hired over ten interns from your school, and only you and Lin Hao stayed. You're both top talents," Jiang Wenshan said, glancing at Lin Hao.
"President Jiang, I know you own 100% of the company's shares. Name your price for a buyout," Ning Xingchen cut to the chase, knowing from his memories that Jiang Wenshan was a crafty old fox.
Although Jiang Wenshan didn't often come to the company, he controlled everything behind the scenes. Without his consent, Ning Xingchen doubted Zhang Jun, as just an assistant to the general manager, would dare to be so arrogant and despotic.
"Yunchuang was named one of Donghai's top ten innovative tech companies last year, with many national patents and cutting-edge technologies. If it develops well, it might even rival BAT in the future," Jiang Wenshan said, playing with his prayer beads and acting mysterious.
"Cut the crap. How much?" Ning Xingchen, impatient, slapped a shiny black card on the table, causing Jiang Wenshan's expression to change. Was this the legendary supreme black card?
"Forty billion," Jiang Wenshan quoted a sky-high price.
"No way. If that's your attitude, there's no need to talk," Ning Xingchen sneered, standing up to leave.
"Wait, wait, we can discuss it," Jiang Wenshan said with a forced smile, stopping Ning Xingchen.
Yunchuang Technology was Jiang Wenshan's creation and a good cash cow. Normally, he wouldn't sell it for any price.
But recently, besides declining company performance, Jiang Wenshan had been suffering from a strange illness with frequent colds, fevers, coughs, chest pain, and breathing difficulties. He feared it was an incurable disease, possibly contracted from a woman, a harsh lesson in the dangers of seeking pleasure.
The illness left him unable to manage the company. Following a master's advice, he spent his days praying at temples, which was costly. Liquidating Yunchuang for a large sum was ideal.
Hearing Ning Xingchen's intention to buy his company made him excited.
"President Jiang, we're both smart people. From what I know, there are at least ten software tech companies in Donghai stronger than yours," Ning Xingchen said calmly.
"But Yunchuang's tech R&D team is top-notch," Jiang Wenshan countered. Many core team members were his schoolmates from the country's best tech university, with unparalleled R&D capabilities.
"Twenty billion, not a cent more. If you disagree, I'll acquire a competitor and bankrupt Yunchuang," Ning Xingchen said coldly, confident in his strategy.
"Twenty-five billion. Alibaba has outsourced many software developments to Yunchuang," Jiang Wenshan offered as a bargaining chip.
Ning Xingchen smirked, thinking Alibaba was nothing. He planned to acquire the e-commerce giant later too.
"Fifteen billion," Ning Xingchen countered.
Jiang Wenshan was so furious he wanted to curse. Who haggled like this?
"Alright, twenty billion it is," Jiang Wenshan agreed reluctantly, eager to get the money for his treatment.
"Deal," Ning Xingchen smiled.
"Let's go back to the company to sign the transfer agreement," Jiang Wenshan said hastily, fearing Ning Xingchen might back out. He knew Yunchuang wasn't worth twenty billion and saw Ning Xingchen as a fool.
