Neith began to stagger, as if every thought in her mind was in conflict. Her body collapsed, and the surroundings began to shift abruptly. The vast desert dissolved, replaced by a series of different places flashing by at a dizzying speed: a great golden hall, a ruined temple, and then places that gave Ethan a strange sense of nostalgia, although he didn't remember them all, like a forest, an ancient mansion, and even his own office.
Ethan tried to hold her, attempting to steady himself amidst the changing scenes.
