The journey to Skadi's house was long but peaceful. The landscape shifted from the crowded city of gods and creatures to a more rugged and tranquil terrain, surrounded by hills. Skadi's family cabin loomed in the distance, a solid and sturdy wooden structure with tall roofs and windows that seemed more designed for giant creatures than for any other race. In fact, it was hard to describe the place as just a cabin; rather, it looked like a wooden castle, a fortress standing tall in the heart of nature.
When the group arrived, Skadi led them to the entrance, which was decorated with ancient carvings and runes that emitted a faint glow in the darkness. The door, easily four times taller than Ethan and much wider, opened with a deep creak, revealing a warm and cozy interior, though designed for giants.
"Welcome," Skadi said with a proud smile. "This is my home, and I hope you can rest here after all you've been through."
