The group advanced slowly toward the imposing Yggdrasil, the World Tree. At its base, a massive city sprawled like a vine, its buildings climbing up the trunk as if they were part of the tree's very structure. Yggdrasil's branches, though withered and lifeless, still retained a majestic air, and the city around it seemed like a mixture of ancient splendor and decay.
Anuket walked beside Ethan, her gaze fixed on the city. She knew the place was filled with gods, and they couldn't afford to draw unnecessary attention.
"We can't enter as we are. Demons are enemies of society, no matter the world," Anuket warned, her voice serious as she watched the city. "If we do, we'll have to face hundreds, maybe thousands of gods. We wouldn't survive long."
Ethan nodded, knowing she was right. While his power was great, it made no sense to fight an army of gods all at once. Moreover, their main goal was to rescue Aracne and the others, not start an unnecessary war.
