Thaiel was in his room, engulfed in depression. He watched Ardyn, who was laughing happily while watching an anime on the screen. Normally, Thaiel would have been more than happy to join her and enjoy their favorite shows, but he couldn't get his defeat against Aracne out of his mind. He felt useless; Ardyn had been hurt because of him, and to make matters worse, no one blamed him, as if it was normal for him to be a burden, which only made everything worse in his mind.
Ardyn, aware of Thaiel's sadness, tried to distract him with funny scenes from the anime, but he barely managed a smile. Finally, he stood up with determination and left the room, leaving Ardyn worried.
