The doctor came over after taking the food into my mates room and told me that she wanted to eat alone then I could go see her, Roe was so happy, and so was I. I would finally get to know my mate and find out everything about her, starting with her name.
The doc walked past us back into my mates room to get her plate and glass but she came out with nothing and looked slightly paler as she walked up to Kian and I.
"My k-king did by any chance your mate walk out of that room in the time I was gone?" She said in a timid voice
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WALKED OUT OF THE ROOM, WHERE IS SHE!?!"
"M-m-my k-king the w-window was o-open"
"WE'RE ON THE SECOND FLOOR"
"Y-yes my k-king but it does s-seem like she may have j-jumped"

"Nik you've definitely got your work cut out for you, but we better go find her let's inform the guards" nows the time Kian feels the need to put his input in
"Fine but..." I turned back toward the doctor "If even a single hair on her haid is hurt your gonna be the one to pay, got it?"

As I mindlinked the guards that my mate had ran away and was likely injured, not to hurt her and to mindlink as soon as they had found her, after I turned of my link I saw the doc scamper away.
Kian POV
I've never seen Nik worried he's always the type of person to keep it in, he doesn't really show his emotions the only ones you can see on a regular basis is anger and well anger.
His mother called me today; Queen Isla, and told me that she was worried for Nik and for me to tell her anything we find out about the little luna.
Angelica POV
I started running as fast as I can with my ankle hurting like a b*tch, I slowed to a stroll as I came upon a steam of water, Shay said that we should take a 15 minute break and I listened.

The voice came from behind me and I immediately knew from the voice and the nickname who it was

"Kian, she's in trouble, MY MATES IN TROUBLE, SOMEONE IS... hurting her. I promised she wouldn't be hurt anymore."
" Nik she ran you can't blame yourself"

I'd been searching for my little bird for days and I finally found her, how she escaped, I dont wanna know.
I threw the whip down creating a satisfying crack in the air before it hit her back, she needed to be punished for leaving , especially while the lycan king is here and she needed to be punished for killing my mate, my everything.

I turned around and saw the king, I look around but he was the only one there meaning.... uh oh
He started stalking towards me

He kept moving closer and closer, so close I backed into one of the trees surrounding us. Until the little bird made a noise

As soon as the king turned toward her I ran as fast as I could and I knew he wouldn't follow me he had to save his 'mate'
Dominic POV
I had the choice to go after him or make sure my mate was ok, I can go after him another time but if she's injured I cant get another of her.
"Little mate?"
"p-please d-d-don't h-hurt m-me s-s-sir"
She thought I would hurt her, my mate thought I would hurt her. I got lower down so we were seeing eye too eye, hopefully looking less intimidating.
Her back was not stopping and she looked like she was about to faint again. Just as she fell she or rather her wolf said the one word I was waiting for
